Harvey, Jacob.
Jacob Harvey was a merchant, arriving in New York City ca. 1816. He was the son of Joseph Massey Harvey, who was a member of the Society of Friends in Limerick, Ireland, and was the brother of William Henry Harvey, who was a member of the American Philosophical Society. He married Mary Hosack, the daughter of New York physician David Hosack.
