Frewer, John, 1883-1974.

Born in England, Frewer came to Western Australia in 1912 as a Church of England priest. He joined the Brotherhood of St Boniface at Williams in 1916 and served as its Warden, 1919-1929. The Brotherhood was established by Bishop Goldsmith of Bunbury and run on similar lines to the first Bush Brotherhood which operated from Longreach, Queensland. In 1929 Frewer was consecrated Bishop of the North-West, where he remained for 36 years. He retired in 1965 and died in 1974.
