Sumter and Wateree River Railroad Company
Incorporated in South Carolina in 1898 to connect Sumter, S.C., with South Carolina and Georgia Railroad Company at Camden, S.C.; line opened in 1899 from Sumter to Sumter Junction, S.C. (16 miles); operated as part of Southern Railway system after 1899.
