Wood, Sumner Gilbert, 1855-1942
Sumner Gilbert Wood (1855-1942) graduated from Williams College in 1877 and Andover Theological Seminary in 1880. After serving in various towns, he became minister of Blandford, Massachusetts, in 1901. As the town's historian, Wood produced several publications, includng Taverns and Turnpikes of Blandford.
