New River Railroad Company
Chartered in Virginia ca. 1872 as New River Railroad, Mining, and Manufacturing Company; name changed in 1877; consolidated with Norfolk and Western Railroad Company in 1882; ran from the New River Bridge in Radford, Va., to the Flat-Top Coal region (75 miles).
