Owen, Mary Ella, 1852-1939
Variant namesMary Owen helped found the Women's Electoral Lobby (WEL). She was a co-founder and co-ordinator of the Working Women's Centre (1975-1983?) and a Social Welfare Research Officer for the ACTU (1984). She was awarded the OAM in 1984 for services to women.
