Alabama Textile Manufacturers Association.
Established in 1901 as the Alabama Cotton Manufacturers Association. In 1958 the organization changed its name to the Alabama Textile Manufacturers Association to reflect increased membership of synthetic fiber producers. The Association functions as a trade association for Alabama textile and allied industries, providing services, guidance, and organized pursuit of common interests and goals.
