Slingsby family.
Redhouse, near Moor Monkton, North Yorkshire, was the seat for the Slingsby family. Barbara Slingsby was daughter of Sir Henry Slingsby, a royalist army officer and conspirator, and the wife of Sir John Talbot of Lacock Abbey.
