Lawyer, of Salem, Salem County, New Jersey; born in Scotland, the son of George Macculloch, who later lived at Morristown, Morris County, New Jersey; was licensed as an attorney in 1823 and as a counselor in 1826; settled in Salem after becoming an attorney and resided there until his death; served as "prosecutor of the pleas" (Salem County Prosecutor?) for several terms.
