Head of Connecticut regional agricultural marketing and employer groups such as Shade Tobacco Growers Agricultural Association, Connecticut Marketing Authority, and Connecticut Regional Market; developed a workable tobacco labor program and participated in Congressional hearings on tobacco labor and production problems; produced documentary film on shade tobacco; represented the interests of tobacco growers and traveled extensively for the Shade Tobacco Growers Agricultural Association, meeting regularly with Caribbean governmental officials; of Windsor, Conn., area and Winter Park, Fla.
