Witherow, John, 1794-1864
Variant namesJohn Witherow, Jr., was born in Fannettsburg, Franklin County, Pennsylvania and served as a volunteer private in Captain Samuel Dunn's Company of the Pennsylvania Militia during the War of 1812. He married Susan Typer Tipper in 1824 and had a family of eight children.
