Harding Family.
Jeremiah Harding served in the Navy between 1865 and 1885 as an Acting Boatswain, later promoted to Boatswain, in a variety of ships and stations. His son, William P. Harding, had several long tours of duty as a carpenter in the Philippines. He was promoted to Chief Carpenter in 1904 and died suddenly on 23 June 1915 while on shore duty in Philadelphia.
