Donna Mae Largo (1935-2009), member of the Santa Rosa Band of Cahuilla Indians, was a Cahuilla basketmaker, basketmaking instructor, medicinal plant expert, and was co-founder of Nex'wetem (Southern California Indian Basket Weavers). In 1983, Maree Cheatham began filming Donna Largo in classes, in the field, and when she spoke at museums and other public venues. Videos were filmed between the years 1983-2000.
