Renaissance Fund.
The Renaissance Fund grants "scholarships, loans, and other forms of financial aid to undergraduate students of the Pennsylvania State University. The primary criterion for the granting of such aid shall be financial need in addition to educational and social conditions of disadvantage." Incorporators were Jesse Arnelle, Michael Baker, Jr., Frederick J. Close, Ralph Hetzel, and Helen Dickerson Wise. Directors were Arnelle, Close, Donald R. Cutler, John W. Gardner, Rosey Grier, Andrew Heiskell, and Whitney M. Young, Jr.
