Norvic Company.
The company, located in Lowell, Mass., was incorporated in 1931 under the direction of Ames Stevens; the Stevens family held the majority of its stock. The company sold surgical bandages and hospital gowns; it bought from the U.S. Bunting Co., woolen manufacturers in Lowell, Mass., and Lawrence Manufacturing Co., cotton manufacturers in Lowell. It was a small operation with only two employees and closed in 1945.
