Pumphrey, Edward
William Tanner who arrived in WA in 1831 was a gentleman agriculturalist. He selected land in the Swan and Avon districts and was very influential, acquiring mortgages over other properties. The younger Edward Pumphrey who arrived in WA in 1839 was a relative.
