Knox, John Davidson, 1828-
Knox was a Methodist minister who sold land for the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railroad in the Pottawatomie Reserve, was elected president of Capitol Bank in Topeka (1871), and became head of the John D. Knox & Co. banking house, Topeka (1874).
