Sons of Gwalia Ltd.
The Sons of Gwalia Limited was incorporated in London and began operations at the Sons of Gwalia gold mine near Leonora in 1898. Herbert Hoover, future US president, was Superintendent of Mines during 1898-1899. The mine closed in 1963.
