Cubbedge, Bertimus J., 1830-1906.
Bertimus J. Cubbedge (1830-1906) worked for the Central of Georgia Railroad Company for many years. From 1859-1869 he was clerk of the repair department. From 1869-1887 he was their auditor. From 1887-1888 he served as their freight agent; Cubbedge retired in 1890. He was also the treasurer and later a director of the Railroad Mutual Building and Loan Association, 1871-1882. In 1883, he was one of a number of people who requested incorporation as Railroad Loan Association. There are variant spellings of his given name.
