Biography

Born in Alameda, California, September 3, 1888, Stanley Hiller, Sr. was an inventor, and manufacturer of machinery and plants for processing food by-products, including the first seagoing fish processing plants (1927); a California land developer (1930-1955); commercial fisheries lobbyist (1934-1938); and early aviator. He died in Oakland, August 8, 1968.
