Smith, Thomas Barlow
Variant namesNo biographical information is available for Thomas B. Smith Nicholas Cruger (1813-1872) was born in South Carolina. He became the senior partner in the Savannah mercantile firm of Cruger and Wade until 1856 when the partnership dissolved. He was president of the Chatham Mutual Loan Association in 1851. Cruger was last noted in the Savannah tax digest in 1859 and may have left Savannah in the early 1860s.
