The Reunion Association, formed October 8, 1885 at Franklin Grove, Ill., of the 75th Illinois Infantry that was organized at Dixon, Ill. and mustered into service in Sept. 1862. Captain William Parker was the president and Corporal Thomas Diller the secretary of the association for the first several years. They met yearly in various western Illinois towns for their reunion.
