Mayer, Marian, 1899-

Maian Samdbrano Mayer was born in Yuma, Arizona. She traces several generations of both sides of her family back to Spanish settlers in Mexico. She grew up on a ranch near Pichaco, California. Her uncle, Isaac Polhamus, was a Colorado River boat Captain. Mrs. Mayer relates her memories of Colorado River life and family traditions.
