Oregon State Federation of Garden Clubs, Inc.
In 1927, members of Oregon's local garden clubs met in Salem to form a statewide federation. The first president was Mrs. W. E. Anderson of Salem. The organization promoted horticulture, civic and highway beautification, and the preservation of historic trees.
