Barefoot, Tillman A.,
Tillman Barefoot, a native of Troy, Alabama, moved to Columbus, Ga. in 1937 and began working at Fort Benning as a civilian time clerk in 1940. He later served as Civilian Personnel Director for over 20 years until his retirement in 1971. Mr. Barefoot also served as a member of the Civilians Military Council.
