Hand, Susan Train
Variant namesSusan Train Hand (1872-1967) was born in Annapolis, Maryland, and came to New York after her marriage to the lawyer and judge Augustus Noble Hand (1869-1954) in 1899. They lived in New York City's Greenwich Village for several decades before moving to the Upper East Side in 1934. Hand was the author of two privately-published books, Letters of the Hand Family 1796-1912 (1923) and John Trayne and Some of His Descendants (1933).
