Crapo-Smith, Lucy, 1836-1920.
Granddaughter of Michigan governor Henry H. Crapo, she organized and was the chairperson of the Art Loan Exhibition, responsible for spurring interest in starting the Detroit Institute of Arts. She married H.H.H. Smith and had two children, Letta and Crapo. She died in 1920.
