Lovell Brown was born in Millers Falls, MA. He graduated with the Norwich University class of 1931. While at Norwich, he was a member of the biology club and rifle team. He was an expert pistol marksman and a rifle expert. Lovell Brown was a member of the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity. During World War II, he served with the 832nd Ordnance Base Depot Company in England, France and Belgium. Lovell Brown was a cost accountant for the Millers Falls Tool Company for more than thirty years. He married Katherine Gray (d. 1989) and was survived by two daughters.
