Emil Singer was born 17 Aug 1881 in Gaya, Moravia. He was a Jew of Austrian citizenship and an etcher. He resided with his wife, Grete, in Vienna until their deportation to Poland on 12 May 1942. It is suggested by documents in the collection that the Singers were killed in the Izbica camp in Poland.
