Adagio Press
The Adagio Press was founded in 1956 by Leonard F. Bahr.
Leonard F. Bahr was born April 16, 1934. A graduate of Wayne State University, he served in the United States Army during the Korean War (1953-1955), and worked as an advertising typographer with George Willens and Company in Detroit for 34 years, retiring in 1991. Bahr was the proprietor of the Adagio Press, which he operated in his home in Harper Woods, Michigan, and specialized in fine and limited editions. He died on April 4, 1992.
