Red River Valley Sugarbeet Growers Association
Variant namesEstablished in the mid 1930s to further the interests of individual farmers who grew sugar beets, the Red River Valley Sugarbeet Growers Association has become one of the most influential organizations in the sugar industry. The organization was instrumental in the purchase of the American Crystal Sugar Company in 1973, and its subsequent reorganization as a growers cooperative.
