Coreen Simpson (b. Feb. 18, 1942, New York City, NY) studied photography with Frank Stewart, Studio Museum in Harlem. She became editor for Unique New York magazine in 1980 and was a freelance fashion photographer for the Village Voice and the Amsterdam News. She is also known for her jewelry design, notably The Black Cameo jewelry collection.
