Camp Cuba Libre (Jacksonville, Fla.)
Established in June 1898 near Jacksonville, Florida, Camp Cuba Libre served as the assembly point of Major General Fitzhugh Lee's Seventh Army Corps. At one time, the camp, which closed on January 11, 1899 when the last troops were transferred elsewhere, held 29,000 men.
