Boyd, Sophie Marie Schaeuble Huntington.
Sophie M. Schaeuble grew up in Hamilton, Ohio and attended Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. In 1908 she received an M.A. in German and Latin from the University of Wisconsin and later taught at a high school in Hamilton. She married Edward E. Huntington in 1910. In the 1940s she married Clinton Boyd, a judge and lawyer in Middletown, Ohio, who had three children from a previous marriage. Boyd was a founder of the Phi Kappa Tau fraternity at Miami University in 1906.
