Elberton Air Line Railroad Company
Chartered in Georgia in 1871 to connect Elberton, Ga., with Atlanta and Richmond Air-Line Railroad Company; controlled by Atlanta and Charlotte Railroad Company (1878-1881); part of Richmond and Danville system (1881-1894); controlled by Southern Railway Company after 1894; ran from Elberton to Toccoa, Ga. (51 miles).
