Joseph Porter Brinton, III, was a member of Yale College, Class of 1945W. He received a BBA from Baruch College City University, New York, in 1957. Brinton was an ambulance driver with the American Field Service during World War II.
The American Field Service was established in 1914 as a volunteer ambulance corps. Its members, largely recruited from American colleges and universities, served in wartime Europe, primarily France.
