Wilson, Henry F. (Henry Felix), b.1837.
On 1861 Apr. 23 Henry F. Wilson enlisted as a private in the Mobile Rifles, Co. K, 3rd Ala. Infantry Regiment. While a member of the 3rd Ala. Infantry Regiment, Wilson fought in the battles of Seven Pines, Fredericksburg, Gettysburg, Winchester, and in the Wilderness Campaign. He was paroled in Appomattox.

Henry F. Wilson, born in 1837, was a native of North Carolina who moved with his parents to Pike Co., near Troy, Ala. He studied under the tutelage of his mother and a Baptist minister.
In 1856 Henry moved to Mobile, Ala., where he worked as a clerk in a cotton commission house. On 23 April 1861 he enlisted as a private in the Mobile Rifles, Company K, 3rd Alabama Infantry Regiment. Wilson was one of four brothers who served in the Confederate Army, and he was paroled at Appomattox, Va.
On 14 December 1865 he married Mary Virginia Clarke. After the war he returned to Mobile where he was part of the cotton commission firm, Webster and Wilson. Later he moved to Birmingham where he was involved in the business of real estate and stocks and bonds.
