Incorporated in 1976, the association is a mandatory-membership deed restricted homeowners association located in northwest San Antonio, Texas. The private, non-profit corporation is one of the largest homeowners associations in Texas and encompasses the subdivisions of Emerald Valley, Village Northwest, Ridge Creek, and Silver Creek. The association is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors who meet regularly and hold an open session for all members monthly. Members receive community-based recreation services, events, activities, programs and facilities; educational and public information opportunities and programs; meeting facilities; a private security patrol; enforcement of deed restrictions; and representation of community interests and concerns with local, state and federal governments and government agencies.
