Alderfer, Lyn, 1930-
State board member, League of Women Voters of Illinois, 1972-1978. Board member, United Way of Springfield and Sangamon County, 1973-1978.
Born Marilyn K. Ruth, Lyn (Mrs. William K.) Alderfer was an active volunteer member of several Springfield (Ill.) area community service organizations from 1967 to 1981. She was state chairperson of the League's Human Resources Committee, and also chaired that committee for the League's Springfield chapter. For the United Way, she served on the Urban Needs, Steering, and Executive committees, and was chairperson of the Budget Panel.
