Boston College. Board of Directors.
In 1968 Boston College adopted a system of governance which featured a Board of Trustees and a Board of Directors. The Board of Directors included Jesuits and laymen and women, and had responsibility for the direction and conduct of university business. It dissolved in 1972 when the Board of Trustees was expanded to include laypeople.
