Holyoke, Priscilla, 1739-1782.
Priscilla Holyoke (1739-1782) was born in Cambridge, Mass., where her father, Edward Holyoke (1689-1769) was president of Harvard College. In 1780, she married Eliphalet Pearson (1752-1826). (Priscilla Holyke's engagement to Nathaniel Ward (1746-1768), librarian of Harvard College, ended with his death in 1768.).
