Sarrels, Maude Jennie, 1876-1957.
Biographical note: Maude Jennie Welcome arrived in Gila Bend, Arizona in 1887. She graduated from Tempe Normal School about 1895 and was a schoolteacher in various small towns prior to her marriage. In Tucson, she lived briefly with Miss Ida Howell before marrying Hudson Oran Sarrels, a Southern Pacific Railroad engineer, in Tucson in 1903. They had four children Dorothy (Ellis), Marian (Evans), Greta (Ezell), and Oran.
