Sindo, Michitaro.

Michitaro Sindo, a Japanese student at Stanford from 1900 to 1906, worked with David Starr Jordan on ichthyological studies and the Commission to study Hawaiian fishes. While at Stanford he was tutored by Elizabeth Cone, who earned her A.B. in English in 1901 and was a graduate student and assistant in the English Department, 1906-1908.
