Detroit attorney and Recorder's Court Judge. 1930-1958.
Son of Peter and Sarah McEnhill Scallen, he was born in Detroit in 1889. He was appointed a Recorders Court Judge in 1930. He was elected the next year and was returned to the bench every year for 28 years. (from B.H.C. biog. file) (blue index cards)
