The Great Exhibition was the first in a series of World's Fair exhibitions that wee popular during the 19th century. The Great Exhibition, also known as the Crystal Palace Exhibition, was held in Hyde Park in London from 1 May to 15 October 1851. Prince Albert was one of the primary organizers of the event intended to showcase culture and industry. The Great Exhibition has remained a symbol of the Victorian Age.
