Huckabay, Robert C., 1923-1980.
Born near Hart, Texas, in 1923, the son of a wholesale agent for Gulf Oil. Grew up in Dimmitt and served in the Air Force during World War II. Afterward he married Bettye Newton, by whom he had three children, and set up a real estate and abstract business in Dimmitt. He died of a heart attack in 1980.
