Robinson, Duncan W.
Duncan W. Robinson was born in El Paso, Texas, on March 27, 1905. He joined the faculty of North Texas Agricultural college in 1928 and taught English until he retired as professor emeritus of The University of Texas at Arlington in 1975. In addition he held positions as registrar, director of public information, sponsor of the student newspaper, and coach of the debate team. Robinson was also a recognized authority on literature of the Southwest and was a noted critic on the writings of Mark Twain. He died in Arlington, Texas, on September 15, 1983.
