Millholland, Charles Bruce
Variant namesCaricaturist, cartoonist and illustrator, Alfred Frueh, was born in Lima, Ohio in 1880. In his early career, he worked at the St. Louis post-dispatch and the New York world. From 1908 to 1909, Frueh studied art in Europe. In 1925, Frueh joined the staff of the New Yorker magazine, which published his work until 1962. Frueh died in Sharon, Connecticut in 1968.
