Macky, Edna Graham, 1891-1971.
Edna Graham Macky [Allan] 1891-1971 was born and educated in Fort Worth Texas. She married John Victor Macky [1887-1951], a prominent Auckland businessman, and lived latterly at 144 Mountain Road, Epsom. They had one child, Faith Katharine Macky, known as Willow. Edna Macky was well-known in Auckland for her leadership in the Auckland Travel Club and the Penwomen's Club, and her interest in public causes, including the Universal Campaign to Outlaw War 1966-1970. She also wrote for newspapers and periodicals on many issues, and wrote a great deal of poetry.
