Croke, Alexander, d. 1726.
Alexander Croke, son of William Croke of Studley Priory, was educated at Wadham College, Oxford and ordained in 1689. He was rector of Hartwell from 1694 until his death in 1726. He bequeathed Studley Priory to John Croke, his grandson by his first marriage.
